Washed Out this Friday

He signed to Sub Pop and released an album with my favorite cover of the year.

Not because it’s two folks knockin’ the boots (I don’t think). Doesn’t it just feel odd to you? It’s a little too evenly lit, a little too in focus. And the sheet beneath them looks like crumpled paper. Plus, I love how Washed Out is transformed into “WAS HED OUT.”
